Hypnosis isn’t just hype! Let me show you how I can help you lose weight effortlessly with Hypnosis
Hypnosis has gotten a bum rap due to over dramatic hypnotherapists and the use of Hypnosis as party entertainment. You might have seen people being “forced” to bark like a dog or dance around the stage. Despite these untrue hypnosis stereotypes, I can assure you that clinical hypnotherapy is actually very real and very safe. For instance, through hypnosis you can never be made to do something you don’t want to do. There are scientific studies that prove clinical hypnosis can be an effective weight loss tool.
My Hypnosis Weight Loss Program includes:
- One 90 min session used to create new patterns in your mind related to food and weight loss
- Between two to eight 60 min sessions to further enhance your new patterns and eliminate those undesirable health habits
- One Audio MP3 for ongoing support which will enrich your experience and help you succeed
The program will be a different length for everyone. How many sessions a person needs and how long the program continues depends on many factors such as the amount of weight you want to lose and how well you adapt to the new patterns and behaviors. The most important factor to successful weight loss is ongoing support. The first several sessions are normally two to three weeks apart and future sessions can be reduced along with your progress.
Safe and Natural Weight Loss Using Hypnosis
Many people are surprised to realize that hypnosis is a totally natural solution to many problems such as weight loss. Through hypnosis a relaxed focus is created. We call this the trance state. You can also reach a similar state through yoga or meditation.
You know that feeling you get when you are lost in a daydream or a great book? Sometimes you might be so focused on your thoughts that you seem to arrive at your destination without remembering the drive. These are all examples of the natural trance state your body goes in and out of several times a day on its own. The trance state helps your conscious and unconscious mind work in unison. It also allows for natural relaxation.
All hypnosis is actually self-hypnosis. It is actually your choice to follow the instructions of the hypnotist telling you to relax. No-one can make you do anything you don’t want to do even while you are in the trance state because your conscious mind doesn’t actually stop working just because you are hypnotised.
Becoming hypnotised is a lot like falling asleep. When your brain tells your body you are ready to sleep the muscles relax and the sleep state is entered. Your hypnotherapist merely coaxes that same feeling out of you with specific words, phrases, and suggestions using a relaxed tone of voice.
Rest assured you are always safe and 100% in control during hypnosis. In fact, you are nearly always consciously aware of what is going on even when you are at your most relaxed state.
The ultimate goal is for the client to listen to and learn from their internal wisdom. Hypnotherapy allows this to occur easily because it turns your conscious chatter off and keeps it from getting in the way. Once you are relaxed and free to listen to your own wisdom, feelings of fear and negativity can be released.
Your weight loss efforts can be doubled with the proper use of hypnosis.
Hypnosis has been proven in clinical studies to dramatically improve weight loss results. In order to receive these benefits you need to work with a trained professional or you also have the option of practicing self-hypnosis with affirmations and a meditation CD.
The best results are obtained through a repetitive use of the program over time, allowing the positive messages to become paramount in the unconscious mind.

Clinical Studies Prove the Effectiveness of Hypnosis To Dramatically Improve Weight Loss Results
Weight Loss through Hypnosis is over 30 Times as Effective as Control Group
A study investigated the effects of hypnosis on weight loss in 60 female participants, who were at least 20% overweight. Hypnosis was generally more effective than the control group: i.e. 17 lbs on average weight loss by the hypnosis group vs. an 0.5 lbs weightloss by the control group, on follow-up.

Hypnosis Subjects Continued To show Significant Weight Loss Two Years Later:
A study involving 109 people completed a 9-week behavioral treatment program for weight management either with or without the addition of hypnosis. Both interventions resulted in significant weight reduction. A follow up at 8-month and 2-year showed that the hypnosis subjects continued to lose significant weight, while those in the behavioral-treatment-only program showed little further change.

Hypnosis Subjects Lose More Weight and Keep it Off
18 studies involving weight loss were analyzed by researchers in which they compared cognitive behavioral therapy involving relaxation training, guided imagery, self monitoring, or goal setting with the same therapy using hypnosis.
Results showed that those who received hypnosis lost more weight than 90 percent of those not receiving hypnosis. Furthermore, those receiving hypnosis maintained their weight loss two years after treatment ended.

Double the Average Weight Loss through Hypnosis
A study into the effect of adding hypnosis to cognitive-behavioral treatments for weight reduction was conducted. The consequent analysis indicated that the benefits of hypnosis in losing weight increased substantially over time.

Significantly Lower Post-Treatment Weights with Hypnosis
Smoking and non-smoking overweight adult women were compared in a weight-loss program using hypnosis and multi-component treatments with and without overt aversion. Significant weight loss and decreases in BMI were achieved. A follow-up study found significant weight losses and declines in BMI. The program using overt aversion and hypnosis achieved significantly lower post-treatment weights and a greater average weight loss.

Hypnotherapy in conjunction with stress reduction yielded significantly more weight loss than dietary advice alone.
A study involving 60 obese patients with obstructive sleep apnea on nasal continuous positive airway pressure treatment using two forms of hypnotherapy (one being directed at stress reduction the other at energy intake reduction), versus dietary advice alone in 60 obese patients showed hypnotherapy to be more effective than dietary advice alone.

Traditional weight loss approaches can be more than doubled through the use of Hypnosis
Five weight loss studies were analyzed which showed that hypnosis can more than double the effects of weight loss compared to traditional weight loss approaches.

Weight loss is greater where hypnosis is utilized
A study into cognitive-behavioral weight loss treatments showed that that weight loss is greater where hypnosis is used. It also showed that the effects of hypnosis increase over time.

Study shows that hypnosis is an effective way of achieving weight loss
A study involving 60 females who were on average about 20% overweight and who did not receive other treatment showed hypnosis to be an effective way to lose weight.
